There are two main types of pain:
Acute pain is a normal response to an injury. It arises suddenly and is usually quickly resolved. Chronic pain extends beyond the time expected for healing and persists for three months or more.
The best approach for managing pain is to utilize a range of therapies: deep tissue work, spinal manipulation, anti inflammatory diet, relaxation techniques, meditation, acupuncture, injection therapies and sometimes pain relieving medicine and/or supplements.
