Our laboratory is a COLA-accredited, moderate-complexity laboratory with experienced, certified laboratory personnel. We offer diagnostic laboratory testing in a personal and caring environment. As a nonprofit teaching facility, we are able to offer affordable lab testing with discounted fees negotiated through our reference laboratories, requiring a signed order from your healthcare provider and an appointment for most lab tests.
Conveniently located in the Medical Center, the Laboratory collects and processes specimens for standard reference laboratories including Sonora Quest and LabCorp, which are contracted with many health insurance plans. In addition to standard tests, we also work with a variety of specialty laboratories to provide unique testing not offered by conventional laboratories, including food allergy panels, urine and saliva hormone tests, neurotransmitter tests, urine toxic metal tests, and stool analysis and parasitology tests. We also offer on-site testing performed by our certified staff, with results usually available within 30 minutes of receiving the specimen. On-site testing includes testing of hemoglobin, glucose, hemoglobin A1C (glycosolated hemoglobin), urine pregnancy test, rapid strep testing for group A strep, wet prep, KOH prep, pinworm prep, and complete urinalysis.
Wellness Profile (CBC, CMMP, Lipid), Cardiac Assessment (Lipid, Homocysteine, Lipoprotein A, CRP), Diabetes Assessment (Gluclose, Insulin, Hemoglobin A1C, NMR Lipoprofile+Insulin Resistance), and Vitamin D lab tests.
Screened with a nasal swab, rapid testing is run within minutes, detecting Influenza A, Influenza B, and COVID-19.
If you believe you may have had past exposure and potentially developed an immunity to the novel SARS-CoV-2 virus, you may be interested in an IgG antibody test. Great option for essential workers, people who have had previous exposure, or those who have had previous symptoms and have recovered.
