The Neil Riordan Center is Sonoran University of Health Sciences' Clinical Centers of Excellence. As part of a nationally recognized leader in naturopathic medical education, our center exists to fulfill two essential missions:

Advance Health Care Through Clinical Excellence

We deliver evidence-informed, patient-centered care grounded in oncology excellence and are actively expanding to offer additional specialized services that meet evolving patient needs. Our interdisciplinary team combines naturopathic principles, advanced diagnostics, and integrative treatment approaches to support patients through every stage of their health journey. Our goal is to improve quality of life through personalized care.

Provide Clinical Training for Future Naturopathic Doctors

As part of Sonoran University's teaching clinics, ND students gain hands-on experience in oncology and interdisciplinary specialty care under the supervision of licensed physicians. This immersive clinical training prepares graduates to deliver compassionate, evidence-informed, and innovative care while advancing the future of naturopathic medicine.

In 2026, the Neil Riordan Center became the home of Sonoran University Clinical Care's Clinical Center of Excellence (CCoE), expanding its role as a destination for advanced integrative healthcare.

Founded in 2020 through a generous and impactful gift to Sonoran University, the Center honors the legacy of Neil Riordan, PA, PhD, a pioneer in applied stem cell research. His vision, rooted in both professional breakthroughs and experiences tied to opioid addiction, guides every treatment we offer. Dr. Riordan’s contribution enables us to lead a paradigm shift in Arizona for how pain is treated, emphasizing regenerative techniques that work with the body instead of against it.
