Dr. Bhatt is a first-year General Medicine Resident at Sonoran University Medical Center. She holds a strong interest in women’s and gender-expansive health, hormonal imbalances, menstrual irregularities, thyroid conditions, gastrointestinal conditions, anxiety, depression, stress management, and trauma recovery. Within Naturopathic Medicine, her passions include botanical medicine, acupuncture, homeopathy, IV/IM therapy, and hydrotherapy. She is also bilingual in Spanish and enjoys working with diverse populations. She is also a Reiki Master and holds a strong belief that trauma is a root cause for a variety of health concerns and that trauma-informed care is the future of medicine.
When working with patients, Dr. Bhatt aims to create a safer space to truly listen to patients’ concerns and treat them with empathy and respect. By meeting patients where they are and using shared decision-making, she aims to create achievable and individualized treatment plans for optimal healing. The Naturopathic principles that guide Dr. Bhatt are the power of prevention, the healing power of nature, doctor as teacher, and treating the root cause.
