About Me: Dr. Goelz is a naturopathic physician at the Sonoran University Medical Center.  She received her Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from Sonoran and completed her first year of residency at Bastyr University Clinic in San Diego. She followed her time there by becoming a second-year homeopathy resident and clinical supervisor at the Sonoran University Medical Center.  Dr. Goelz has a strong interest in mental health conditions, women’s health, and gastrointestinal health.  Her specialties include anxiety, depression, trauma recovery, sleep disturbance, menstrual irregularities, hormonal imbalances, gastrointestinal conditions, SIBO, IBS, and IBD.  She is bilingual and enjoys working with Spanish-speaking patients.  Her main passions within natural medicine include homeopathy, botanical medicine, and mind-body medicine, and she has an interest in flower essences.  She is also a Certified Master Nutrition Therapist and Natural Foods Chef and has additional training in reiki, pranic healing, and holistic counseling.  Dr. Goelz takes the time to truly listen to her patient’s concerns and treats them with empathy and respect.  She meets patients where they are by using shared decision-making to create treatment plans that are individualized and achievable.  She believes the body has an innate ability to heal itself and this belief is central to her clinical approach.
