Deidra Succo is a General Medicine Resident at Sonoran University of Health Sciences. She graduated with a Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from Sonoran University in June 2023. She completed a two-year general medicine residency at Sonoran University and continues her careeras Residency Director. She previously received a BS in Cellular & Molecular Biology at Fort Lewis College as well as MS with a concentration in Neurobiology at Colorado State University. She is also deeply passionate about community medicine with a strong commitment to addressing health disparities and advancing health equity. Succo also serves as Site Director at the Arthur M. Hamilton Elementary Clinic that serves children and families, many from the nearby housing projects, and almost all with household incomes below the poverty line. Her goal is to ensure that individuals, regardless of their background, have access to quality healthcare and the opportunity to achieve optimal health outcomes. Acupuncture, botanical medicine, classical homeopathy, nutrition, and lifestyle optimization are her preferred modalities to guide patients toward better health.
