Dr. Axelrod has been in practice for over 30 years as a naturopathic physician and acupuncturist. She worked in an integrative rheumatology practice for 18 years. She is a published author both nationally and internationally on topics including osteoarthritis, fibromyalgia, rheumatoid arthritis and treating autoimmunity with natural medicine. She also lectures nationally on these topics. Dr. Axelrod is a full-time professor at SCNM and has been teaching for 24 years. She has also been named Top Doctor in Phoenix magazine.
