When you call to schedule your Sonoran University Clinical Care appointment, a patient services representative (PSR) can help verify your insurance. You will be asked to provide a current insurance card on the day of your appointment. If your insurance plan does not cover naturopathic medicine, you may be able to use your HSA account to pay for your care. If choosing to pay out of pocket, we accept cash, check, debit, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.
Your copay or appointment fees are due on the day of your appointment. If you have an outstanding balance on your account, we ask you to pay it in full or set up a payment plan in order to schedule future appointments. Please note that sometimes you might receive notification of a balance due after your initial appointment. This could happen after we bill your insurance or if you needed additional services such as labs. If you ever have questions about your bill, we’re here to help. Just call us at 480-970-0000.
While many insurance companies do not cover naturopathic pain management options, the Neil Riordan Center believes that investing in your pain relief and management will lead to a great return in quality of life.
For seniors and students, we offer up to a 10-percent discount on Supervised Shift visits to full-time students (student ID is required at the time of service) and seniors, ages 65 and above. We proudly support our troops, providing active duty, veterans, and reservists up to 10-percent discounts on all Supervised Shifts.
If you’re a Sonoran University alumnus living in Tempe or visiting the area, you’re eligible for a discount in our clinics. Sonoran University alumni and immediate family of alumni (spouse, domestic partner or child 18 and under) receive up to a 10-percent discount on all Supervised Shifts.
* Discounts vary based on service and apply to Supervised Shift visits only. All naturopathic Supervised Shift care teams consist of the attending physician, resident, and 3rd and 4th year medical students. Payment is required at time of service for all discounted services. Discount is based on self-pay patients only and cannot be combined with any other discount or insurance program. Packages are not eligible for discounts, as all packages are already discounted.
